Hi ,

Let P ( x ) = px + q + r

To find zero of P ( x ) , we have to

take P ( x ) = 0

px + q + r = 0

px = - ( q + r )

x = - ( q + r ) / p

Therefore ,

Zero of P( x ) = - ( q + r ) / p

I hope this helps you.
