Given,

{y^2-5y+6=0}

Using factorisation method :-

{y^2 -3y-2y+6=0}

{y(y-3)-2(y-3)=0}

{(y-3)(y-2)=0}

Now,

y - 3 = 0

y = 3

Again,

y - 2 = 0

y = 2

Therefore, y = 3,2
