root of the polynomial p(x) is         (zero mean root)
2x - 3 = 0        (for root of any polynomial , p(x) = 0)
x = 3/2

zero of polynomial means where,
p(x)=0;
therefore, p(x)=2x-3=0⇒x=3/2
