Finding the zero of the polynomial :-

5x - 6 = 0

⇒5x = 6

⇒x = 6/5

\rule{250}{2}

Notes :-

  • For finding the zeros of any polynomial, we have to equate it with 0. Then we can obtain the zeros.
  • The degree of the polynomial defines the number of zeros of a polynomial.  Example: A quadratic polynomial ax² + bx + c can have 2 zeros the degree of the polynomial is 2.
