Hey mate!

Here's your answer!!

5x² + 2 × -8

The first term is, 5x2 its coefficient is 5 .
The middle term is, +2x its coefficient is 2 .
The last term, "the constant", is -8.

5 × -8 = -40

Find two factors of -40 whose sum equals the coefficient of the middle term, which is 2 .

40 + 1 = -39
-20 + 2 = -18
-10 + 4 = -6
-8 + 5 = -3
-5 + 8 = 3
-4 + 10 = 6
-2 + 20 = 18
-1 + 40 = 39

Conclusion : Trinomial can not be factored.

HEY....☺

Here's ur ans. ⬇

_______________________

Zeroes of the polynomial ⤵

5x^2 + 2x - 8

alpha × beeta = c/a = -8/5

alpha + beeta = -b/a = -2/5

Here , a is the coefficient of x^2 , b is the coefficient of x and c is constant.

Since , it's polynomial instead of quadratic , there are infinite zeroes of it .
