Hi friend,

(i)p(x) =x+3

p(x)=0
x+3=0
x= -3

Therefore, -3 is the zero of the polynomial x+3.

(ii) p(x)=(x+1)(x+2)

p(x)=0
(x+1)(x+2)=0
x+1=0 ; x= -1
x+2=0 ; x= -2

Therefore, -1 and -2 are zeroes of the polynomial (x+1)(x+2)

Hope it helps..
