Find the zero of the polynomial p(x)=2x^2+5x+3

Answer:

2 {x}^{2}  + 5x + 3 = 0

2 {x}^{2}  + 6x - x + 3 = 0

2x(x + 3) - 1(x + 3)

(2x  - 1)(x + 3)

x =  \frac{1}{2}  \: and \: x =  - 3

Therefore,the two zeroes are 1/2 and -3
