To find the zero of a polynomial we should keep it as equals to zero
i.e..., p(x)= 0
=> ax+1=0
=>ax=-1
=> x=-1/a
i.e..., p(x)= 0
=> ax+1=0
=>ax=-1
=> x=-1/a

Polynomial
The zeroes of the polynomial are the values of x which will satisfy the equation , where is a function of x.
Zeroes are the value of x , which on putting into y gives the value of y as 0.
Polynomial , and a is not equal to 0.
Hence on putting the value of x as ( ), the value of polynomial is 0.
