Given:

  • A quadratic polynomial is given to us.
  • The polynomial is 6x²-7x-3.

To Find:

  • The zeroes of the polynomial and verify the relationship between the zeroes and coefficients.

Answer:

The given Quadratic polynomial is 6x²-7x-3 .

When we equate it with 0 it becomes quadratic equation.

=> 6x² -7x - 3 = 0.

=> 6x² - 9x + 2x -3 = 0.

=> 3x(2x-3) +1(2x-3) = 0.

=> (3x+1)(2x-3) = 0.

x = -1/3 , 3/2.

Sum of zeroes = -1/3 + 3/2 = -2+9/6 = 7/6 = -b/a.

Product of zeroes = -1/3 × 3/2 = -3/6 = c/a .

Hence verfied.
