Answer:

x²-7x +10 = 0

=> x²- 2x -5x +10 = 0

=> x(x-2) - 5(x-2) = 0

=> (x-2)(x-5) = 0

=> x = 2 or x = 5

Thus, zeroes of the given quadratic equation are 2 and 5.

sum of zeroes = 2+5=7

relation: sum of zeroes = -(coefficient of x)/coefficient of x²

= -(-7)/1 = +7/1 = 7

product of zeroes = 2×5

relation: product of zeroes = constant/coefficient of x²

= 10/1 = 10

Hence, both the relations verified.
