\huge\bf{Question:-}

Find the zeroes of the polynomial 4x²-3x-1 and verify the relationship between the zeroes and the coefficients of the polynomial.

\huge\bf{Answer:-}

4x² - 3x - 1

→ 4x² - 4x + x - 1

→ 4x (x - 1) + (x - 1)

→ (4x + 1)(x - 1)

→ 4x + 1 = 0 or x - 1 = 0

→ x = -1/4 or x = 1

Sum of zeroes = 1 - 1/4 = 3/4

Product of zeroes = 1(-1/4) = -1/4

Hence verified.
