Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

2x⁴- 3 x³ - 3 x ² - 6 x - 2

α = √2 β=-√2

α+β= 0          αβ=-2

Formula for forming equation is x² - ( α + β ) + αβ

Equation = x²-2

2x⁴- 3 x³ - 3 x ² - 6 x - 2/ x² - 2

The quotient = 2 x² - 3 x + 1 and remainder = 0

Factorise the quotient :-

2 x² - 2 x - 1 x + 1

⇒ 2 x ( x - 1 )  -1 ( x - 1 )

⇒ 2 x -1 ) ( x - 1)

⇒ x = 1/2 and x = 1

The other zeroes are 1/2 and 1
