we can write the roots like this...

(x-root 3)(x+ root 3)=x^2 - 3

therefore x^2 - 3 is a perfect root of equation 2x^3+x^2-6x-3

there fore by dividing we get ---- 2x+1

therefore x= -1/2 answer..
