we already know that

sum of zeroes = -b/a

on comparing the equation with general formulas of pair of linear equation , we get

 \alpha  +  \beta  =  \frac{ - b}{a}

then ,

 \alpha  +  \beta  =  \frac{9}{2}

because , a=2. ,. b=-9 , c= 1

so the sum of zeroes of polynomial is 9/2

Answer:

the know that the sum of zeroes=-b/a

  1. @+b=-b/a
  2. than
  3. @+b=9/2
  4. i.e a=2,b=9,c=1
  5. then the sum of zeroes of the polynomial is 9/2
