Step-by-step explanation:

P(X) = 6X²-3

so for zeroes 6X²-3=0

3(2X²-1)=0

=> 2X²-1=0

=>2X²=1

=>X²=1/2

=>X=plus minus 1/√2

so the zeroes are 1/√2 and -1/√2

so for verification we have to find the sum and product of zeroes viz.

1/√2-1/√2. =0. = 0/6. = -b/a

hence verified ✓

also 1/√2×(-1/√2)

=>-1/2

=-3/6=c/a

hence verified

vanshgenius2004: Well , I have a doubt. ...... When you equated 3(2x^2 - 1 ) = 0 ... so as to find zero of p(x) the at the next step why 3 is not there
Anonymous: because 3 can't be equal to 0
Anonymous: so we will transfer
Anonymous: the three to right hand side
Anonymous: so 0/3 will be there
Anonymous: which is equal to 0
vanshgenius2004: ok...thanks
Anonymous: my pleasure
