 \:  \:  \:  \: 2 {s}^{2} - (1 + 2 \sqrt{2})s +  \sqrt{2} \\  = 2 {s}^{2} - 2 \sqrt{2}s - s +  \sqrt{2} \\  = 2s(s -  \sqrt{2}) - 1(s -  \sqrt{2} ) \\  = (s -  \sqrt{2} )(2s - 1)
Therefore,
Zeroes of p(x) are:-
 \sqrt{2}  \: and \: ( \frac{1}{2}).
