✱ Given ✱

  • find the zeroes of the following polynomial 6x2 - 7x - 3

✱ To find ✱

  • Zeros of polynomial

✱ Solution ✱

P(x) = 6x² - 7x - 3

→ 6x² - 9x + 2x - 3 = 0

Splitting middle term ✍

→ 3x(2x - 3) + 1(2x - 3) = 0

→ (3x - 3) ( 3x + 1) = 0

Either

→ 3x - 3 = 0

→ x = 3/3 = 1

or

→ 3x + 1 = 0

→ x = 1/3

Hence, 1 and 1/3 are the zeros of given polynomial
