Roots are given as =2a−b±b2−4ac

Now let us compare ax2+bx+c=0 with x2−2x+3=0 to find the values of a,b,c

After it we can directly put a,b,c into the formula to find the roots

By comparing a=1,b=−2,c=3

So roots =2×1−(−2)±(−2)2−4(1)(3)

               =22±4−12

               =22±−8

               =1±i2

Hence the roots of the equation x2−2x+3=0 are imaginary
