(x+4) (x+3)

x^2+7x +12

a = 1 b = 7 c = 12

a X c = 1 X 12 = 12

x^2 + 4x + 3x + 12

x(x + 4) + 3(x + 4)

(x + 4) (x + 3)

x + 4 = 0  or    x + 3 = 0

x = - 4      or    x = - 3
