Sᴏʟᴜᴛɪᴏɴ :

Given p(x) = x² + 5x + 6 is a quadratic polynomial.

It has atmost two zeroes.

To find zeroes, let p(x) = 0

⇒ x² + 5x + 6 = 0

⇒ x² + 3x + 2x + 6 = 0

⇒ x(x + 3) + 2 (x + 3) = 0

⇒ (x + 3) (x + 2) = 0

⇒ x + 3 = 0 or x = -2

Hence,

The zeroes of the polynomial are -3 and -2.
