\huge{\underline{\sf{Solution:-}}}

(x) = 2x2 - 7x + 3 = ax2 + bx + c

= 2x2-6x - x + 3

=2x(x - 3) -1(x - 3)

=(2x - 1) (x - 3)

=x = 1/2 , x = 3

let α and β be the zeroes of p(x)

α= 1/2 , β=3

α+β= (1/2)+3

= (1 + 6)/2

= 7/2 ...(1)

αβ = (1/2) . 3

= 3/2 ...(2)

Verification of zeroes:-

α+β= -b/2 =-(7)/2 = -7/2 ...(3)

αβ = c/a = 3/2 ...(4)

eq (1) = eq (3) and eq(2) = eq(4)

Hence verified!
