4x ² + 5√2 x -3

4x² + 6√2x - √2x - 3 [middle split]

2√2x (√2x + 3 ) - 1 (√2x + 3)

(√2x+3) (2√2x-1)

√2x + 3 = 0 l (2√2x -1) = 0

x = -3/√2 l x = 1/2√2

hope it helps
