x²+2x=1
by splitting the middle term
x²+x+x+1 x²
x(x+1)+(x+1) x+x=2
(x+1)(x+1) x*x=x²
x=-1
zero of the polynomial is -1
by splitting the middle term
x²+x+x+1 x²
x(x+1)+(x+1) x+x=2
(x+1)(x+1) x*x=x²
x=-1
