Answer:

( i ) 2x + 1 = 0

2x = -1

x = -1/2

( ii ) ( x + 2 ) ( x + 3 ) = 0

The zero of polynomial ( x + 2 )

( x + 2 ) = 0

x = -2

The zero of polynomial ( x + 3 )

x + 3 = 0

x = -3

Therefore the zero of polynomial p(x) =(x+2)(x+3) is -2 and -3 .
