Find the zeroes of the polynomial in each of the following

a) p(x)=3x-7

b) g(x)=5+11x

a)

p(x) = 3x - 7

==> zero:

☛ 3x - 7 = 0

☛ 3x = 7

☛ x = 7/3

Zero = 7/3

b)

g(x) = 11x + 5

==> zero:

☛ 11x + 5 = 0

☛ 11x = -5

☛ x = -5/11

Zero = -5/11
