x² + 7x + 10 = 0
x² + 2x + 5x + 10 = 0
x(x + 2) + 5(x + 2) = 0
(x + 2)(x + 5) = 0
↪ x = -2
↪ x = -5
↪↪ Product of roots = (-2)(-5) = 10
Product of roots of a quadratic equation = c/a
where c = constant term
a = co-efficient of x²
αβ = c/a = 10/1 = 10
Therefore, product of roots of x² + 7x + 10 = 10
