Step-by-step explanation:

mx^2+(m+n)x+n

Solving by splitting the middle term method,

mx^2+mx+nx+n

Taking mx common ,

mx(x+1)+nx+n

Taking n common,

mx(x+1)+n(x+1)

Zeroes=

mx+n=0

x=-n/m

Also,

x+1=0

x=-1
