dividing \: the \: equation \: by \: 2 \: we \: get \:  {x}^{2}  -  \frac{3}{2} x + 1 \\ so \: using \: x =  \frac{ - b +  -  \sqrt{ {b}^{2} - 4ac } }{2a}  \\ here \: a = 1 \\ b =  -  \frac{3}{2}  \\ c = 1 \\ so \: we \: get \: x =  \frac{3 -  \sqrt{7} i}{4} and \:  \frac{3  +  \sqrt{7} i}{4}

Relation :

quadratic \: equation \: is \: given \: by \:  {x}^{2}  \times (sum \: of \: roots)x + (product \: of \: roots)
