GIVEN :-

A quadratic polynomial 3x² -11x + 6 .

TO FIND :-

The zeros of the given quadratic polynomial.

SOLUTION :-

Here , we finding the zeros of the polynomial, so the polynomial will be written as,

➟ 3x² - 11x + 6 = 0.

Now by splitting the middle term,

➟ 3x² - 9x -2x = 0

➟ 3x( x - 3) -2 ( x - 3 ) = 0

➟ ( x - 3 ) ( 3x - 2 ) = 0

➟ x - 3 = 0 , 3x - 2 = 0

➟ x = 3 , x = 2/3

Hence the zeros of quadratic polynomial are 3 and

 \frac{2}{3}

3 , 2/3
