Answer:

given

p(x) = 10x²+3x-4

10x²+8x-5x-4

2x(5x+4)-1(5x+4)

(2x-1)(5x+4)

2x-1 = 0

2x = 1

x = 1/2

5x+4 = 0

5x = 4

x = 4/5

zeroes are 1/2 & 4/5

verification between zeroes and coefficients

α = -b/a

1/2 = -3/10

β = c/a

4/5 = -4/10

4/5 = -2/5

ans

p(x)=10x²+3x-5

=10x²+8x-5x-4

=2x(5x+4)-1(5x-4)

=(2x-1)(5x+4)

the value of p(x)=0

when the value of (2x-1) (5x+4)=0

(2x-1)=0. (5x+4)=0

2x=1. 5x=-4

x=1/2 x= -4/5

1/2 and -4/5 are two zeroes

sum of zero= alpha+beta =-b/a

1/2+(-4/5) =-3/10

5-8/10 =-3/10

-3/10=-3/10

product of zero = alpha ×beta=c/a

1/2×+(-4/5)= -4/10

-4/10=-4/10
