p(x)= x square - root 2x + 3 root2x - 6
= x ( x - root 2) + 3root 2 (x - root2)

(x + 3 \sqrt{2})(x -  \sqrt{2)}
x =  - 3 \sqrt{2}

or
x =  \sqrt{2}
