Find the zeros of polynomial p(x)=x³- 3x²- 25x +75, if its two zeros are equal in magnitude but opposite in sign

anjalismenon23p4v4hh: It's a cubic polynomial, so wouldn't it have 3 zeroes?
aryanmalik52: yup
anjalismenon23p4v4hh: the question only mentions 2 zeroes, so you wouldnt be able to apply the formula properly
aryanmalik52: oh! i did it.
anjalismenon23p4v4hh: how?
aryanmalik52: wait a min

P(x) = x^3 - 3x^2-25x+75

Alpha+beeta+gama = -(-3)\1

Alpha + (-alpha) + beeta =3

Beeta =3

Alpha into (-alpha) into beeta = -75
-alpha^2 into 3 = -75
Alpha^2 = 75/3 = 25
Alpha = 5

Bhagavathi567: Hipe it helps!!
aryanmalik52: thanks
Bhagavathi567: No mention

As a result, the level of difficulty of the Standard exam was way higher than the Basic exam. The level of the questions of Class 10 Maths Basic examination is easy, where all the questions were asked from NCERT itself. Students can easily attempt all the questions within the time frame without facing any difficulty
