Hey Mate!!

p(y) = 2y² + 3√5y - 10

→ 2y² + 4√5y - √5y - 10

→ 2y(y + 2√5) - √5(y + 2√5)

(2y - √5)(y + 2√5)

(2y - √5) and (y + 2√5) are factors of p(y).

→ 2y - √5 = 0

y = √5/2

→ y + 2√5 = 0

y = -2√5

Therefore, √5/2 and -2√5 are zeroes of p(y).
