find the zeros of polynomial x2 + x - p( p+1)​

We get,   x^2 + x-p (p+1) = 0

X^2 + x – p^2 –p = 0

X(x + 1) –p(p-1) = 0

So it is obvious that either x (x + 1) = 0 or – p (p-1) = 0

So x = 0 or p = 0.

Now for verification we plug in values of x = 0 or p = 0 in equations we get..

0 + 0 -0(0+1) = 0

0 + 0 – 0 – 0 = 0

L.H.S = R.H.S.
