p(x)=x²-15x+50. let,p(x)=0.

⇒x²-15x+50=0. (∵+50 factors are -10 & -5 to get their sum as-15) & (∵Splitting of -15x is -10x & -5x) ⇒x²-10x-5x+50=0.

⇒x(x-10)-5(x-10)=0.

⇒(x-5)(x-10)=0. case-(1): |
