 {x}^{2}  - 7 \\ we \: can \: also \: write \: as \\  {x}^{2}  -  { \sqrt{7} }^{2}  \\ we \: will \: use \: the \: identity \\  {x}^{2}  -  {y}^{2}  = (x + y)(x - y) \\ (x +  \sqrt{7} )(x -  \sqrt{7} ) \\ roots \\ x +  \sqrt{7}  = 0 \\ x =  -  \sqrt{7}  \\ x -  \sqrt{7}  = 0 \: x =  \sqrt{7}
