x = -1 & -1/4

Step-by-step explanation:

4x² + 5x + 1 = 0

=> 4x² + 4x + x + 1 = 0

=> 4x (x + 1) + 1 (x + 1) = 0

=> (x + 1)(4x + 1) = 0

So,

zero no. 1-

x + 1 = 0

=> x = -1

zero no. 2 -

4x + 1 = 0

=> 4x = -1

=> x = -1/4

Hence zeroes are -1 & -1/4

hope it helps.
