P(X) = x^2 + 4x + 10

» Sum = 4

» product = 10

using completing square method

P(x) = x^2 + 2(2x) + 2^2 -2^2 +10

Or, x^2 + 2(2x) + 4 -4 + 10 = 0

Or, (x + 2)^2 - 4 +10 = 0

0r, (x+2)^2 + 6 = 0

0r, (x+2)^2 = -6

Therefore it has no real root.

» x+2 = +/- √-6

» X = +/- √(-6) -2
