Zeroes of the polynomial is the value of the variable for which the polynomial becomes 0 i.e. p ( x ) = 0.
Here, p( x ) = a x.
Putting p ( x ) = 0, we get,
a x = 0
or, x = 0 ( ∵ a = 0 )
