For finding zeroes use either of these

1) splitting the middle term

2) completing the square

Or

3)quadratic formula

t^2-15=0

t^2=15

t=+-√15

Let alpha = √15

Let beta =-√15

Then for verifying

Sum(alpha+beta)=-b/a

(√15+(-√15)=-0/1

√15-√15=0

0=0

Product (alpha*beta)=c/a

√15(-√15)=-15/1

-15=-15

Hence verified

Hope it helps

t^2-15=0

t=+-root 15

roots are

t=root 15. t=-root 15.

a=1. b=0 c=-15

1)alpha + beta is equal to minus b by a is equal to zero by 1 is

equal to zero

2)alpha beta equal to C by 1 is equal to minus 15 by 1

I think it helps you.......
