p (y ) = 7y^2 -11/3y - 2/3

= 21y ^2 -11y -6/3

= 21 y ^2 -11y -2

so now we can find its zeroes easily .

= 21y^2 -14y -3y -2

= 7y ( 3y -2) +1 ( 3y -2)

= ( 7y +1 ) ( 3y -2 )

7y+1 = 0 and 3y -2 =0

y = -1/7 and y = 2/3

.: the zeroes of the given polynomial is -1/7 and 2/3 .
