Answer:

for the condition of zero the polynomial must be equal to 0

x2-4=0

x2 = 4

x= + 2 ( since square both of these numbers is 4 )

therefore the zeroes are +2 and (-2)

thus they are equal in numerically but opposite in sign

Answer:

f(x)=0

x^2-4 = 0

=> x = +2, -2 which are equal and opposite in sign.
