x2 + x -p(p+1)=0

x2 +x -p2 -p= 0

x2- p2 +x-p=0

(x+p)(x-p)+(x-p)=0

(x-p)(x+p+1)=0

Thus ,

x=p or , -1(p+1)

Answer:

Zeroes are p and - (p +1)

Step-by-step explanation:

x² + x - p(p + 1)

⇒ x² - x - p² - p

⇒ x² - p² + x - p

⇒ ( x + p) (x - p) + (x - p)

⇒ ( x - p ) ( x + p + 1)

By zero product rule,

x - p = 0

⇒ x = p

And,

x + p + 1 = 0

⇒ x = - (p + 1)
