Given:

  • A quadratic polynomial 3x² - 2.

To Find:

  • The zeroes of the polynomial and verify the relationship between zeroes and coefficients.

Answer:

Taking the given quadratic polynomial and equating with 0.

⇒3x² - 2 = 0.

⇒3x² = 0+2.

⇒3x² = 2 .

⇒x² = ⅔

⇒x = √⅔

⇒ x = ±√⅔

☞ x = √⅔ , -√⅔

Now , of a quadratic equation in standard form of ax²+ bx + c ,

  • Sum of zeroes = -b/a
  • Product of zeroes = c/a

The quadratic equation can be written as ,

3x²+0x -2

Here , a = 3 , b = 0 and c = -2

So , Sum of zeroes = -b/a = -(0)/3 = 0 .

And -√⅔ + √⅔ = 0.

Also , Product of zeroes = c/a = -2/3

And -√⅔ × √⅔ = (-1) × √ ⅔ × √⅔ = -2/3 .

Hence verfied.

HEY MATE!!

First we will find the value of x

3x2 - 2=0

3x2 = 2

x2= 2/3

x= root 2/3

VERIFYING

3x2-2=0

3(root 2/3)2 - 2=0

3(2/3)-2=0

3 AND 3 ARE CANCELED

2-2=0

0=0

HENCE PROVED

HERE IS UR ANSWER
