x is the coefficient of 6 , x square is of 6 and 1 is of 2

6x²+7x+2

6x²+3x+4x+2

3x(2x+1)+2(2x+1)

so

(3x+2)+(2x+1)

hence zeros

x= -2/3 , -1/2 .
