Taking x² - 3 = 0
⇒ (x + √3) (x - √3) = 0

Since, (a+b)(a-b) = a² - b²

So, the zeroes are √3 and - √3

Given Equation is x^2 - 3.

= > x^2 - 3 = 0

= > x^2 = 3

= x =  \sqrt{3} , - \sqrt{3}

Therefore  \sqrt{3} , - \sqrt{3} are zeroes of the polynomial.

Hope this helps!
