hey buddy here is your answer

  x^2+3x-4

=>x^2+4x-x-4

=>x(x+4)-1(x+4)

=>(x-1)(x+4)

hence the zeros of the polynomials are 1 and -4

PROOF

Sum of the zeros=-b/a=-3=1-4=-3

product of zeros=c/a=-4=-4*1=-4

Hope it helps
