Given :

Side = 7 cm

To find :

Area of the equilateral triangle . ?¿

Let's solve from heron formula .

In equilateral triangle all sides are equal so

AB = BC = CA = 7cm

s = \frac{AB + BC + CA}{2}

s = \frac{7 + 7 + 7}{2}

s = \frac{21}{2}

Heron Formula = \sqrt{s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c)}

H = \sqrt{s(s - 7)(s - 7)(s - 7)}

H = \sqrt{\frac{21}{2}{(\frac{21}{2} - 7)}{(\frac{21}{2} - 7)}{(\frac{21}{2} - 7)}}

H = \sqrt{\frac{21}{2}{(\frac{7}{2})}{(\frac{7}{2})}{(\frac{7}{2})}}

H = \sqrt\frac{7230}{16}

H = \frac{84.67}{4}

H = 21 . 21 cm²
