Suppose the even no. be x

Another even no. as x + 2 (consecutive)



=> x + x + 2 = 66

=> 2x + 2 = 66

=> 2x = 66 -2

=> 2x = 64

=> x =64/2

=> x = 32



=> x +2

=> 32 + 2

=>34


Therefore, the nos. are 32 and 34

2x+2=66
2x= 64
