a) with the numerator 9

b) denominator 15

EVALUATION

a) with the numerator 9

Here the given fraction is

 \displaystyle \sf{ \frac{36}{60} }

Now

 \displaystyle \sf{ \frac{36}{60}  =  \frac{3}{5} }

In order to find equivalent fraction with numerator as 9 we multiply numerator and denominator both by 3 and get the required fraction as

 \displaystyle \sf{ \frac{3 \times 3}{5 \times 3}  =  \frac{9}{15} }

b) denominator 15

In order to find equivalent fraction with denominator as 15 we multiply numerator and denominator both by 3 and get the required fraction as
